As a freelance digital manager copywriter and fashion editor, Emma Vloeimans writes about everything that sparks her interest. For this interview she gave us her view on her career and shared some words of wisdom. She is founder and editor-in-chief of Tribute to magazine which is an online magazine focusing on fashion, art and creative visionairs. We are excited to learn more about her in this interview.

T: What makes you proud?

E: The fact that I’m at the stage in my career I hoped to be at this age, while truly enjoying it.

T: What valuable tip from your industry can you share with us?

E: Stay kind, be willing to learn, and always bring a portfolio.

T: Have you ever disliked something and then changed your mind?

E: Still in doubt about Crocs. I used to hate them, but now I find them quite cool – on some people, at least (excluding myself).

T: What energizes you about your career?

E: That I work within the field of my biggest passions: fashion, writing, and being able to use my creativity in my daily work.

T: Do you live by any words of wisdom?

E: There’s always a way to make things work, don’t let others tell you differently. To me, a positive mindset is by far the most important thing in order to achieve your goals.

T: What is the last thing you read?

E: Everything that comes up, do it right away. But sometimes it’s still hard!

T: What is your favorite song right now?

E: Lullabies of Love by Rose Ringed.
